Friends of Woodland Hills Academy (WHA)

This year, Excel Taekwondo Center increased its efforts to work with local schools in the West San Fernando Valley. We donated money and services to different schools and PTAs. An example is Woodland Hills Academy. Attached is the Thank You letter from the Friends of WHA, the school PTA.

Parents of Welby Way (POWW)

Canoga Park/West Hills Chamber of Commerce

Excel Taekwondo Center is also an active member of the business community in Canoga Park. In February of this year, we were an Event Sponsor and a donor to the 2009 Installation Gala of the Canoga Park/West Hills Chamber of Commerce (CPWHCC).

We have been a sponsor of the CPWHCC since 2008.

Boys and Girls Club of the West Valley

In February 2009, Excel Taekwondo Center made a donation to the Boys and Girls Club of the West Valley. The donation is part of our effort to give back to our community. As a business that focuses on children’s fitness and character development, we support organizations like the Boys and Girls Club that promote similar ideals.

Women's Odyssey

In December 2008, Excel Taekwondo Center conducted a Women Self-Defense Class for the ladies and residents of Women's Odyssey Organization. The organization is a non-profit that seeks to help women of substance abuse overcome their addiction and develop a productive and sober way of life.

The class was fun and all the ladies enjoyed it. More importantly, they found the class empowering.
